Pink Dream
A few months ago I finished this work. It inspired me to work again with these pink beads which I bought in Johannesburg where my sister Pauline Bax lives. Together with my daughter I visited her and experienced life of the privileged in Joburg. In Parkhurst I bought this pink vase and embroidered it with innocent beads.

My site is more like a portfolio, each year i make an update with 6 or 7 new works. But this new work i want to show you already as i am very pleased with it. It is made of oysters found in my homeland Zeeland, wineglasses, pearls, beads, lace, wood and glass. Although i am an atheist, religious artefacts are very inspiring to me so i made a tabernacle in a feminine style. If you want to see more details, feel free to contact me.

Expo “Stof bedekt niet” bij NL=US
Vrijdag 10 oktober ben je van harte welkom bij de opening van mijn expositie bij galerie NL=US tussen 19.00 en 21.00 uur. De galerie is gevestigd in de winkel van Margreeth Olsthoorn in het verlengde van de Witte de Withstraat. Ik ben heel erg blij dat mijn werk tot 21 november op deze mooie plek te zien is naast het werk van ontwerper Niek Wagemans.
